I am a wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter and the Principal Investigator of the DFG funded research project (eigene Stelle) Kant’s Late Self, at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität, Mainz, Germany. My primary research areas are Kant, post-Kantian German philosophy (especially Schopenhauer), and the history of analytic philosophy (especially Sellars). I am interested in the intersections of these areas with the philosophy of mind, cognitive science, epistemology, and the philosophy of science. Additionally, I am interested in Islamic philosophy and theology and am the editor of the PhilPapers category al-Ġazālī.
